French farmers demonstrate in Paris against tractors, angry at the Mercosur agreement and the slaughter of cows

Protesting French farmers entered central Paris and reached the Eiffel Tower on Thursday, and others headed toward the French capital amid anger over a free trade deal between the European Union and South American bloc Mercosur and the government’s handling of the livestock disease.
