Ford CEO Jim Farley updates consumers on the state of the company on ‘Kudlow’
Ford Motor Company Named #1 Most Iconic Company in Americaaccording to a new ranking from Time magazine and global data platform Statista.
The recognition, based on a national survey of U.S. residents, places the Michigan-based automaker at the top of a list of 250 U.S. companies that have not only achieved commercial success but also played a “vital role in shaping culture and society.” Time review reported.
“Just as my great-grandfather made the world roll to give people freedom of movement, our approach to the modern era is rooted in that same spirit,” Ford automobile company » Executive Chairman Bill Ford said in a statement. “Innovation isn’t just about making batteries or technology for fun; it’s also about improving people’s lives.”

Bill Ford highlighted the company’s focus on American workers, noting that Ford Motor Company is the largest hourly supplier automobile employer in the United States
“We are leveraging our position as the largest hourly automotive employer in the United States to ensure that the future transportation is built by American workers for ordinary American families,” he said.
Founded in 1903, Ford Motor Company is credited with transforming modern manufacturing through the assembly line – an innovation that made vehicles affordable for ordinary Americans and reshaped the development of cities and suburbs across the country, according to Time magazine.

“Now it stands to redefine the future of mobility in the country, experimenting with self-driving cars and working to lower the prices of its electric vehicles,” Time magazine wrote.
Other companies rounding out the top 10: Apple, Coca-Cola Company, Walmart, Amazon, McDonald’s, General Motors, Microsoft, Google, Nike and Walt Disney Company.

“What you need to know is that this is a victory for affordability and common sense. As the president said, we will be able to offer more affordable prices on our popular models, and we will be able to introduce new American-built vehicles that are more affordable because of this rule change,” Ford CEO Jim Farley said on “Fox & Friends” on Dec. 4.
