Tottenham striker Mathys Tel is reportedly unhappy with his lack of playing time at Spurs and could be open to listening to move offers in January.
The 20-year-old was seen as an exciting young talent at former club Bayern Munich, but has struggled to establish himself at Spurs since joining on an initial loan deal that later became permanent.
Tel has just six goals in 38 appearances for Tottenham in total, so it’s no surprise that he now appears to have fallen out of favor with manager Thomas Frank.
And according to Fabrice Hawkins, reliable RMC journalist, Tel is now ready to leave Spurs in January in order to have more playing time…

On his official X account, Hawkins posted: “EXCL Mathys Tel wants more playing time at Tottenham and will be listening for offers this winter. A departure is not excluded.”
This must succeed in his next move if he wanted to make the most of what could have been a very successful career at the highest level.

The Frenchman played regularly for Bayern when he was still a teenager, and he surely still has the drive to become an even better player in the years to come.
Maybe Tottenham would do well to give him more of a chance, but that doesn’t seem to be happening, so he needs to go somewhere where he will be guaranteed a first-team appearance.
Tel has been a bit unlucky to drop down the pecking order with Bayern and Spurs, so it will be interesting to see if he can bounce back with his next move.
As of now, no specific club is linked to Tel, but we may learn more about potential suitors as the month goes on.
