Chrisean Rock responds after Claressa Shields sends support following boxing contract announcement
On Thursday, January 8, Chrisean Rock went to Instagram to express his gratitude following the announcement of his “first boxing contract”.
“Beyond grateful… my first boxing contract is finally done @xrumble_fighting_ 🥊🙏🏽 Thank you Jesus, thank you to my manager @kimberlyrossofficial and my legendary trainer @coachcalvinford for the love, patience and trust. This journey means everything to me! Wassupppp Baltimore!!!” she wrote in part.
Additionally, Rock shared an exclusive statement with The shadow room in response to Claressa Shields who sent him her support for his new chapter.
“I am extremely grateful and honored for her support. It really means a lot to me, especially coming from someone who is number 1 in women’s boxing. I will continue to work hard and stay disciplined… I can’t wait to train with her!” » she declared.
As for who she plans to enter the ring with for her first match, Rock says she “lets Yahweh rule every decision…”

Earlier this week, TMZ has exclusively reported that Chrisean Rock has signed a deal with the boxing division of XRumble Fighting Championships. According to the outlet, Rock has signed to compete in the company’s “first women’s super middleweight championship.” The event is reportedly scheduled for Saturday, April 25 at Harrah’s Philadelphia Casino in Chester, Pennsylvania.
Rock would be trained by Gervonta Davis’ trainer Calvin Ford and would look for opponents weighing between 160 and 170 pounds. Additionally, on Thursday, Claressa Shields sent her blessing to Rock.
