Musk’s Grok criticized for generating sexualized images

European officials and tech activists criticized Elon Musk’s AI chatbot Grok on Friday after its controversial image-creation feature was limited to paid subscribers, saying the change did not address concerns about sexualized deepfakes. Grok faced global backlash after it emerged that the feature allowed users to sexualize images of women and children using simple text prompts such as “put her in a bikini” or “take off her clothes.”
