‘It’s important for me’ – LA protesters take to the streets

Protests against immigration raids continued in Los Angeles, California on Tuesday, with similar demonstrations in other major American cities.

US President Donald Trump says demonstrations are an “assault against peace and public order”. The mayor of Los Angeles, Karen Bass, says that the path of dismantling of the demonstrations is to end the raids.

In Chicago, Illinois, demonstrators clashed on Tuesday with the police.
