Massive brawl breaks out between Packers and Bears 20 minutes before wild-card round kickoff

The Chicago Bears will face the Green Bay Packers on Saturday in the playoff round. However, it seems like things started to heat up between the two teams before the match started.

In a clip shared on social media, players from both teams are seen gathering in the middle of Soldier Field before kickoff. Officials and other members on the ground attempted to break up the confrontation between them.

Although the cause of the confrontation is unknown, this heated situation is sure to add spice to the highly anticipated playoff showdown. Both teams did their best to make the playoffs and have a chance to compete for the Super Bowl.

THE Chicago Bear brought in new coach Ben Johnson this season. Under his leadership and with the help of second-year quarterback Caleb Williams, they were able to clinch the NFC North title with an 11-6 record and qualify for the playoffs. It was their first division title since 2018 and their first playoff run since 2020.

On the other hand, Matt LaFleur and the Green Bay Packers are preparing for their third straight playoff appearance. They finished second in the NFC North behind the Bears with a 9-7 record. Last season, they lost to the Super Bowl LIX champions, the Philadelphia Eagles, in the wild-card round. The last time they competed for the Lombardi Trophy was in the 2010 season in Super Bowl XLV, where they won after beating the Pittsburgh Steelers.
