How did Brandon McManus fare during the 2025 regular season?

Signed by the Packers midway through the 2024 season to bring experience and stability to the kicker position, Brandon McManus played well enough to earn a three-year extension worth $15.3 million.

However, his first full year was somewhat disappointing. Although he only missed one extra point attempt in his first four games, he also struggled with field goals, missing two attempts. Things weren’t helped when he suffered a quad injury that kept him sidelined for most of October.

During that stretch, Lucas Havrisik missed six shots on goal – four field goals and two extra point attempts, forcing the team to abandon him once McManus was healthy again. But while he was perfect on extra points, he missed four field goal attempts.

Two of them came in his first game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, which the Packers won 35-25. He also took a hit in home losses to the Carolina Panthers and Philadelphia Eagles, but he was perfect the rest of the way.
