Syria’s Kurdish fighters agree to leave Aleppo after days of deadly clashes




Syria’s Kurdish fighters announced Sunday that they had agreed to withdraw from a neighborhood of Aleppo after negotiating a ceasefire agreement providing for the evacuation of civilians and dead and wounded fighters to northern and eastern Syria. The deal follows days of deadly clashes between Syrian government troops and the U.S.-backed, Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces.
