‘Star Wars’ fans haven’t given up on Ben Solo’s cinematic return

Last year we learned that we could have had a Star Wars film focused on Ben Solo by Adam Driver following The Rise of Skywalker. Title The Hunt for Ben Solo, it would have had Steven Soderbergh as director and screenwriter, which on the surface sounds like a film fans would dig. But Disney killed that idea, partly because they thought Ben I’m almost definitely deadand fans have since seethed with resentment for what cannot be.

In the months that followed, some took it upon themselves to get Disney to reverse its decision. Recently, IGN interviewed Brianna Jones, a writer and voice actor who is leading the charge in this endeavor. While Driver and Soderbergh have generally accepted the film’s fate and moved on, Jones feels the news of The hunt the cancellation “torn the very fabric of the franchise.” The Hunt for Ben Solo reignited a spark in us all and brought us together. […] Now, fans of all ages from around the world have come together for a common goal: to bring Ben home and continue his saga.

On a large scale, Johns and his colleagues created “Missing” posters and purchased advertising space on Times Square billboards calling for the disappearance of the missing. Ben Solo the film will receive the green light. Additional efforts include a standard petition, sending letters to Disney and even a fan meeting at the end of the month. As she told IGN, their plan is to be “so good” [Disney] I can’t ignore us,” and we hope more fans will join in to get this effort off the ground.

This game to do the Ben Solo The film is happening is one of many efforts by fans to reach out to businesses that have cropped up throughout 2025. The Avatar fandom is also fighting for a movie to be released, specifically bringing The Legend of Aang return to cinema after its abandonment by Paramount + – and more recently, the Stranger Things the hope of the community a secret ninth episode which concludes the series which has just ended in a theoretically best fashion. The latter did not come to fruition, but the other two are currently in progress.

Who knows if fans will get what they want when it comes to Well, However. They may not be giving up on this movie, but Disney seems ready to move on. directly connected to the Sequel Trilogy so that it can go and chart a new path for the franchise.
