In early January 2026, Fanatics teamed up with legendary Allstate voice Dennis Haysbert to launch its latest advertisement for the company’s flagship fair play policy.

For those unfamiliar, Fanatics’ Fair Play Policy is an injury protection program that protects bettors when a player in their prop bet leaves a game early due to injury.

“If a player unexpectedly leaves a game early, Fanatics Sportsbook pays the Under as the winner and refunds all bets on a single player,” a company statement said, according to an earlier report from The Blast. “If the player is part of a customer’s parlay, Fanatics Sportsbook will click the Under as the winner and cancel the parlay game for any Overs and keep the parlay active with recalculated odds.”

This isn’t the first time Fanatics has made headlines thanks to its generous fair play policy. In May 2025, the sportsbook refunded more than $500,000 to consumers after Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry unexpectedly left a playoff game against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The policy also turned one lucky bettor’s $5,000 bet into a $224,773 win after Curry’s player prop was voided. The parlay also included football props and the Warriors moneyline. The revised odds were +9240, making it the largest bet ever made at the time.

Before that, Fanatics wowed bettors after paying out more than $250,000 in bets when Kristaps Porzingis left a contest due to injury. The Fair Play policy negated player props, turning a five-step parlay (+2,375 odds) into a $24,000 winning ticket.
