Kristy ‘Sarah’ Scott is back on the gram after Desmond spoke about their impending divorce. News from his petition broke out on January 9, three days after he last posted it on the Instagram feed. A day later, her ex-husband’s statement came. And even though she has yet to give her views outside of court paperwork, she isn’t shy about entertaining her huge audience! But roommates, is that giving a thirst trap or smiling through the pain?

If you didn’t know, Kristy has a total of over 31 million followers on YouTube, Instagramand TikTok, its largest platform. So, divorce or not, his sister apparently has to keep her online presence ‘chaotic’ active. Kristy sort of broke her silence on social media on Sunday, a day after Desmond Scott admitted to making choices he wasn’t proud of.

Even though she hasn’t spoken to fans, Kristy Sarah hopped on Instagram Stories with two posts. The first was a photo of her barbecue lunch, including ribs, baked beans, potato salad, macaroni and cheese, and a side of pickles and onions. The second post was what netizens would jokingly call “dessert.” It was a selfie video of Sarah smirking at the camera and flipping her hair in her outfit of the night (OOTN). In the video, she wore a skintight ensemble with long sleeves and animal print in brown color. His face card was also on SWIPE, despite his ongoing marital problems! She only wrote “OOTN” on the post, but her choice of song “Can’t Believe It” by T-Pain turned some heads, especially since the lyrics she cut read: “She likes the main stage, she does people say yes.

Social networks react to Kristy’s return

In the comments section of The Shade Room, nearly 2,000 housemates criticized Kristy Scott posting her OOTN amid her strained marriage to Desmond. Some applauded her for giving her fans a glimpse into her state of being, while others predicted how long she would be single. And some die-hard fans seemed to be encouraging or hoping for a reconciliation between Desmond Scott and his wife!

What happened between Kristy and Desmond Scott?

As previously reported, Kristy Scott ended 2025 by filing for divorce from Desmond in Harris County, Texas. They met and dated as teenagers before getting married years later in 2014. They have two sons, Vance and Westin. Over the past few years, they’ve exploded as an influencer couple through prank, family, and cooking content.

Although they openly shared updates, including the processes of building and moving their house, they did not warn their fans that their marriage was suffering. At least that’s the picture Desmond Scott painted when he released a statement on Saturday. In it, he admitted to making choices he wasn’t proud of, apparently responding to Kristy Sarah’s allegations of infidelity upon divorce. However, he also explained that before these choices, he had announced to his wife at the end of 2025 that he wanted to separate. Fans noticed that Desmond stopped appearing in his wife’s social media posts in early December.

According to TMZKristy did not detail the alleged cheating. However, the documents reportedly indicate that they will soon stop living together and that infidelity has destroyed any reasonable chance of reconciliation. There are no additional details on how they plan to co-parent and what will happen to their assets, such as their newly built home and their production company, Meant To Be Films.
