The 51-year-old actor reflected on his old films and admitted he was noticeably different from his younger self.
“I admit, I’ll watch with my kids, like ‘Parenthood,’ we watch with them. And I’m like, ‘Oh, my God, man, I look so different,'” Shepard confessed on a Jan. 12 episode of his show.Armchair expert” podcast.

As The explosion reported, the “Punk’d” alum admitted he was saddened by the outcome, but for a deeply personal reason.
In a heartfelt and now-deleted Instagram post, the actor shared a screenshot of a supportive message from his daughter, who praised his appearance before the ceremony.

Shepard’s desire to mention his children in his acceptance speech comes as no surprise, given how openly he talks about them. A few days earlier, the actor opened up about how he plans to support his youngest daughter Delta’s future dream of becoming a parent.
As The explosion reported, Shepard explained that her little girl is already talking about how she “can’t wait to have a baby.” He said her desire was a reflection of her nurturing instinct, which she shows even towards her toys.
Shepard explained that he approached the subject cautiously, asking her when she imagined having children, to which she responded later in life, in her 30s or 40s.
In response, Shepard suggested he would pay to freeze her eggs when she was older, to give her more flexibility and relieve future pressure.

While being a loving father to his two daughters, Shepard has also been the loving husband of Kristen Bell for over a decade, a union that has often sparked public comment.
More recently, The explosion reported that music legend Cher spoke out on the subject of their marriage during an appearance on Shepard’s show.
As Shepard reflected on how past trauma had shaped her communication style, Cher interrupted with a blunt remark: “You’re lucky. She’s definitely the better half.”
Although his comment was not initially recorded by the media personality, he later delved into it, pressing for more details about what Cher was thinking.
When Shepard asked who she thought Bell’s “dream partner” would be, Cher didn’t name anyone else but threw a subtle jab. “The truth is I trust him. So you must have something I’m not seeing,” Cher said.

Late last year, Bell faced intense backlash after sharing a post celebrating her 12th wedding anniversary with Shepard.
According to The explosionthe “Nobody Wants That” actress included a quote from her husband in the caption.
She wrote: “Happy 12th wedding anniversary to the man who once said to me, ‘I will never kill you. Many men have killed their wives at some point. Even though I have a strong incentive to kill you, I never would.'”
The remark quickly drew criticism, with many fans calling it inappropriate and poorly timed, especially since October is recognized as Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
