The statement categorically denied reports that he participated in the reality show “The 50”, which is set to air on Colors TV and be streamed on JioHotstar.

The official note underlines that there is “no truth” in these claims and confirms that the cricketer has neither been approached nor engaged in discussions regarding the project. The statement read:

“There is no truth to the reports currently circulating about Yuzvendra Chahal participating in a reality show. These claims are speculative and incorrect. Yuzvendra is not associated with the show mentioned in recent reports, nor is there any such discussion or engagement. We request media platforms and social media users to refrain from spreading unverified information.” Chahal said in a statement.

This strong rebuttal aims to put to rest assumptions that the player is looking to explore the entertainment industry while remaining active on the domestic circuit.
