Longer, easier rides – BionicOldGuy

I’ve started increasing the length of some of my rides, which is well tolerated as long as I don’t push too hard. It’s really relaxing and nice when the weather is nice. Last Tuesday we went on a group ride that started out in the cold and fog. I was surprised at how many people were there, all bundled up. But after riding for about half an hour it died down and turned into a great day of riding. A friend told me that this lingering cold fog we have only happens inland, it’s sunnier along the coast. On Wednesday I took another long, beautiful walk along the Coyote Creek Trail.

The fog had just cleared Wednesday and there are great views of the Santa Cruz Mountains from a high point on the Coyote Creek Trail.
