Pressure is “at fever pitch” as US pursues third oil tanker near Venezuela.

On Monday, the U.S. Coast Guard pursued for a second day a sanctioned tanker that the Trump administration describes as part of a “dark fleet” that Venezuela is using to evade U.S. sanctions. On Monday evening, US President Donald Trump summed up Washington’s multi-pronged campaign against the country, adding that it would keep the oil as well as the ships.
