Shaun Weiss explained that while he can help Tylor Chase, they need to find him, explaining:
“All we have to do now is find him. I’m not in Los Angeles, otherwise I’d go find him myself.”
He urged people to try to find the Ned is declassified actor and “send him a message so we can get him some help in time for the holidays.”
After the video went viral in September, Citalli Wilson, whose handle is @lethallalli, created a GoFundMe page for Tylor Chase, which received $1,207. However, in another video, Wilson explained that the actor’s mother urged them to stop the page. She explained that her son needed medical help rather than money.
According to Wilson, Chase’s mother said:
“Tylor needs medical attention, not money. But he refuses it. But money wouldn’t do him any good. I bought him several phones, but he loses them in a day or two. He can’t manage the money for medicine himself.”
The GoFundMe page was later closed and Wilson gave the $1,207 to his mother.
Meanwhile, Chase’s former co-stars from Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide also talked about wanting to help him. Devon Werkheiser, Lindsay Shaw and Daniel Curtis Lee spoke about the viral video on their podcast: Ned’s Declassified Podcast Survival Guide.
In a September 24 episode, Devon opened up about how “angry” he was at first when the influencer was recording Chase. However, Daniel responded:
“I saw the girl who kind of started this whole thing with Tylor Chase, they got her, showered her a little and gave her some clothes. She seems like a good person just trying to offer help to a lost soul.”
They said they would look to help and talk to Chase, but also claimed he wouldn’t come on the podcast.
