Inside Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker’s Explosive Divorce: Custody War, Premarital Drama and New Court Files
Kandi Burrus And Todd Tucker The separation becomes increasingly complicated as their divorce continues to play out in court — and the latest documents reveal a real fight over custody, the prenup, and what information the public will be allowed to see.

According to court documents, Todd Tucker submitted its response to Kandi’s divorce filing on Wednesday, November 26. In the file, Todd asked for their two children – Aceborn in 2016, and Flamberborn in 2019 – “are currently in his custody and residing with him in Georgia”, while Kandi manages “out-of-state work obligations.”
Todd52, argued that these obligations “will continue to require him to be away from the children for at least the next few months,” as he asked the court for primary physical custody, joint legal custody and final decision-making authority. His filing emphasized the continued cooperation between the two men, noting: “The parties have worked cooperatively with the goal of resolving all issues, and [Tucker] remains committed to continuing these discussions in good faith.

Todd Tucker lawyer hired Kandi as a mother, with the filing stating that he “acknowledges [Burruss] as a loving and capable parent” and hopes that continued discussions “will bring full resolution to all issues.” He still proposed:[Burruss] have plenty of time and meaningful access to children.
Todd also challenged the couple’s 2014 prenuptial agreement, admitting to signing it but alleging he was pressured to do so without an attorney present. His filing states that the agreement “was presented to [Tucker]without [Tucker] have counsel…immediately before the marriage ceremony”, calling the circumstances questionable. He also demanded a “division of all marital property” and alimony if the marriage contract is found to be unenforceable.

A few days later, Kandi Burrus retorted.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta a former filed multiple motions to keep their divorce proceedings sealed, arguing that she and Todd are “public figures working in the entertainment, television and film industries.” Her filing asserts that it is in the best interests of the children for all financial and custody information to remain confidential. His lawyer wrote that sealing the case would “prevent disclosures on social media, the Internet and the media in general…compromising the integrity of the proceedings as a whole.”

Todd Tucker has not yet responded to the request.
Kandi also submitted an amended petition on December 1 addressing at Todd’s complaints regarding the marriage contract. She said he was represented by a high-profile attorney at the time and cited Bravo footage from their wedding special as proof. His attorney wrote: “The parties’ journey toward execution of a binding prenuptial agreement was filmed and broadcast…with the knowledge and consent of both parties.” [Burruss] And [Tucker].” The file notes that Todd “audibly announced” that he was “ready to sign” the agreement after speaking with his attorney “on and off camera.”

In the meantime, Todd argued in court that although he received the agreement before the marriage, his lawyer “was not present when he was given the final version.” In his file, Kandi requested joint custody and requested that the marriage contract be maintained. She acknowledged the couple had accrued marital debt, saying it “should be subject to equitable sharing directed by the prenuptial agreement.” Kandi Burrus also asked the court to determine whether the child support and declared the marriage “irretrievably broken” with “no reasonable hope of reconciliation.”
Divorce filings continue to unfold as both parties prepare for what appears to be one of RHOA the most dramatic splits to date.
