Former Nickelodeon star’s situation leaves police uncertain

Ancient Nickelodeon star Tyler Chase sparked concerns after new details revealed he was living unhoused in Riverside, California.

According to the Riverside Police Department, officers have had repeated contact with the former Nickelodeon actor, but do not have a clear timeline for when his situation began.

Public Information Officer Ryan Railsback told the Daily Mail“We don’t know how long he’s been homeless.”

Railsback stressed that Chase remained cooperative during his encounters with law enforcement.

He added that the department’s Public Safety Engagement Team regularly contacts Chase and continues to offer assistance.

Agents would contact them at least once a week and present options such as temporary shelter and other support services, although Chase has so far declined those offers.

Although authorities remain concerned, they have confirmed that Tylor Chase is not wanted for any crimes.

Authorities later said the actor did not appear upset when officers informed him the video had gone viral.
