Public Information Officer Ryan Railsback told the Daily Mail“We don’t know how long he’s been homeless.”

Railsback stressed that Chase remained cooperative during his encounters with law enforcement.

He added that the department’s Public Safety Engagement Team regularly contacts Chase and continues to offer assistance.
