Kim Kardashian doesn’t have the perfect vacation with her kids

The reality star documented her attempts to involve her four children in the festivities via a cute family photo, but apparently they weren’t on board with the plan.

Kim Kardashian welcomed North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm with ex-husband and rapper Kanye ‘Ye’ West, before their split in 2021.

The star hopped on Instagram with behind-the-scenes photos of her attempts to capture a cute family moment with her four children. Unfortunately, the reality star’s attempts didn’t pay off as North and Saint weren’t too happy about being featured in any of the pictures.

Saint, 10, was seen looking at the camera with a straight face in the first image before finally smiling with very little effort in the fourth image as they sat on the chair.

Chicago and Psalm were pretty cooperative throughout the photoshoot process, striking cute poses while watching their older siblings continue their rebellion. North, on the other hand, didn’t give the camera a chance until the final slide, where she appeared in a short clip alongside her darling mother.

Despite the chaos scenethe kids of the West have taken it very seriously in the fashion department. Saint appeared flawless in a white-on-white ensemble, accompanied by his cream and black afro highlights.

Chicago and Psalm opted for a black and brown palette for their wardrobe choices, including a faux fur side, while North wore a full denim ensemble with a black handbag and a flashy black and green hairstyle.

Kim accompanied the post with the caption, “I really tried.” Several fans, followers and some of her famous friends showed up in the comments section with testimonies of their experiences with their children, who also didn’t want to take photos.

The reality star’s close friend Malika Haqq noted that the struggle is real with kids, but Kim can remain joyful in the fact that she has them. Another close friend of Kim’s, Tracy Romulus, left a heart eye, a laugh and a heart emoji right below the post.

A third commenter pointed out how relevant the situation is, noting that their kids don’t take photos with them anymore. This user compared the personality of West’s children to that of their father, concluding that “Saint is like his daddy.”

“Kim’s trial version is all about serving luxury mom mode while creating iconic memories,” another fan captioned the post.

This isn’t the first time Kim’s babies have sabotaged her plan to give fans a family photo for the holidays. Back in 2022, American magazine said Kim explained her frustration over North’s boycott of a family photo moment at Christmas.

She acknowledged that Christmas time remained an iconic time in their family and that growing up, her mother, Kris Jenner, would always gather all the children together for an annual Christmas card.

Kim added that the shoot was also an attempt for her to lift her spirits after the drama that happened with Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson at the time.

The business mogul noted in the confessional of their family show that the greeting card photo shoot would prove to be very stressful, as she had previously tried to get her four children in a family photo alongside Ye at the time, but was unsuccessful.

“They’re still crying. No one can hear each other. Most of the photos I saw were unusable because North was sticking her middle finger out… Yeah, it’s a lot. It’s just a lot to be a mom,” the SKIMS founder noted.

When the star and her ex-husband reunited in 2013, it was a match made in heaven as Kim admitted she was captivated by Ye’s larger-than-life personality.

Unfortunately, the rapper’s mental health issues and constant outbursts put a strain on the marriage, forcing Kim to leave the couple after years of hoping things would improve.

The explosion said that looking back, Kim now sees her decision as a necessity to teach her children the concept of setting boundaries in unpleasant situations.

“But when someone isn’t willing to make changes that I think would have been very healthy and beneficial, it’s very difficult to continue in a relationship that can be toxic,” the actress continued.

She also responded to Ye’s previous claims that she was stopping him from spending time with the kids. According to Kim, “I raise the kids full time. They live with me and I enjoy a healthy, great relationship with my kids and their dad, and I think he knows that.”
