Why Dolores Catania has a problem with ‘RHOBH’ OG Kyle Richards

“The Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Dolores Catania does not hold back regarding his problems with Kyle Richardsfrom “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.” In conversation with Orange County Judge Tamra on her podcast “Two Ts In a Pod,” Catania expressed her frustration with Richards’ refusal to reveal any details of her dating life. The conversation about who Richards might or might not be dating comes after the reality star split from her husband of nearly 30 years, Mauricio Oumanskiand after being spotted getting close to the country singer Morgan Wade.

Over the past two seasons of “RHOBH,” fans have been clamoring for intimate details about Richards’ alleged romantic relationship with Wade. However, the veteran reality star didn’t want to share.

According to Catania, Richards’ inability to be fully authentic in front of the cameras isn’t fair. “I’ll tell you this: Nobody gets away with what Beverly Hills gets away with,” she said. “By not talking about their lives.”

Judge gave her perspective, sharing that Richards might want to talk about it, but she can’t because “the other person doesn’t want to be mentioned.”

“Okay, fine. I understand, but it’s still not acceptable in other people’s worlds. It’s just not the case,” Catania replied. “A lot of people don’t want to be involved. I can name some boyfriends who don’t want to be involved, but people are told, ‘Then we need to rethink your status.'”

Richards and Wade first made headlines in 2023 after reports revealed that Richards and her husband, Umansky, were separating after 27 years of marriage.

The two spoke candidly about their organic friendship, with Richards admitting that she followed Wade on social media after discovering his music and being attracted to his “edgy” look.

Richards later starred in Wade’s “Fall in Love with Me” music video, in which they appear as lovers. “It’s campy and fun — but also important and representative of all kinds of love, even in the countryside, in any space,” the two said of the video.

Wade added“@kylerichards18 and I trusted the process of creating a piece of art that boldly stood out from this music and I’m proud of it. Thank you for your support and love. Love is love is love.”

Although Richards never fully confirmed that she was romantically involved with Wade, she hinted at it during the latest episode of “RHOBH.”

In Season 15, Episode 3, Richards told a producer that she was still on good terms with her recent ex, but said things ended up falling apart because of timing.

She too explain that they might have been misaligned, saying, “I just don’t think that, unfortunately, our lifestyles and, like I said, the calendar were aligned.”

According to Richards, “All the speculation and gossip and talking is what finally ended it all.”

Some of Richards’ co-stars have since made it their mission to help the “Halloween” actress find her perfect match after her recent heartbreak. However, they claimed they needed to know everything about Richards to do so.

Bozoma Saint John started asking Richards a few personal questions during the episode, but the 56-year-old wasn’t a fan of her co-star beating around the bush.

“Boz acts like she’s never heard or seen anything, and she’s asking me all these questions,” she said. “And I’m like, ‘OK, Boz.'”
