French Christmas traditions: festivities that continue until the New Year




Christmas in France wouldn’t be complete without unlimited champagne, oysters or a Yule log. And the French holiday season is longer than most – extending into the New Year with Epiphany (January 6) and its traditional galettes des rois (kings cake) through February with Chandeleur (Candlemas).
