Savannah Chrisley to Face ‘The View’ Hosts Who ‘Hit’ Her Parents

“Chrisley knows best” star Sacred savannah joins the cast of “The viewWell, at least for a week. During an episode of her podcast “Unlocked,” Savannah, 28, shared the exciting news with her listeners. While discussing the new gig, Savannah admitted that sitting on the iconic panel with strong personalities like Joy Béhar And Whoopi Goldberg might be a little uncomfortable, since they had already criticized his parents after Donald Trump forgave them.

“The View,” which began airing in 1997, is known for its rotating panel of celebrity hosts. From Andy Cohen to Savannah, the series has frequently introduced new voices to freshen up the dynamic. Savannah will appear on the show the week of February 15, 2026. “I’m so excited for this because I love doing things that challenge me, [and] I like to do things that educate me,” she said.

Savannah explained that she was stepping out of her “comfort zone” by joining the panel, particularly because “these personalities have criticized my family, criticized me.” She added that the ladies of “The View” even wondered what she could have done to help her parents get a presidential pardon, implying there might be more to the story.

In the summer of 2025, Savannah shared clips on social media of a phone call from President Trump, during which the president told her that her parents would be released from prison. She praised the president, saying she would be “eternally grateful” to his administration for making this possible.

Savannah’s parents, Todd and Julie, were initially sentenced to 12 and seven years in prison, respectively, following a jury conviction for bank and tax fraud. “Over the course of a decade, the defendants defrauded banks of tens of millions of dollars while avoiding paying their federal income taxes,” said United States Attorney Ryan K. Buchanan. “Their lengthy sentences reflect the scope of their criminal scheme and should serve as a warning to those tempted to exploit our nation’s community banking system for illegal personal gain.”

Since Todd and Julie reported to prison in January 2023, Savannah has advocated for their early release, citing inconsistencies during their trial and alleging they were targeted because of their fame. On “The View,” the panel of co-hosts criticized Trump’s decision to issue pardons.

“According to this administration, if you’re a reality TV star with a lot of money and a tax evader and you commit fraud, then that’s fine. We’re going to give you a pardon,” Behar said. “The poor people on Medicaid or food stamps, okay? According to this administration, they are the real mockers of the country, and they need to be taken off health care or food stamps,” she continued, later noting how “wealthy” figures are “liberating” themselves.

Savannah has never been shy about showing her love and appreciation for Trump and his administration. According to a previous report from The explosionthe reality star admitted to “sobbing” with her little brother Grayson when she learned Trump had won the 2024 general election.

“Grayson and I watched the election together, and he was able to vote for the first time. And when we were watching it and we saw the president winning, we both started sobbing,” she said. “And he just grabbed me and hugged me because we knew that was our only way out.”

Although Todd may not have been as emotional as his children, he felt a sense of relief when Trump defeated former Vice President Kamala Harris. “When they finally announced that he was the winner, everyone started yelling and screaming because they knew, they felt in their spirit that if President Trump won this election, there was hope for all of us,” he said.
