Pandya was leaving a restaurant after a Christmas party with Mahieka. A crowd gathered outside his car when he decided to take photos with some fans.

What happened?

Among the crowd, a fan tried to take a photo with him but was unable to approach for security reasons. Upset by this, the fan shouted an abusive comment in Hindi. Pandya did not react and walked away calmly.

It’s unclear whether he heard the comment or chose to ignore it. Many people praised him online for remaining calm and not creating a scene. The incident showed how difficult it can be for famous players to deal with crowds and public pressure.

Pandya’s superb performance in Ahmedabad

Pandya impressed everyone with his batting against South Africa in Ahmedabad on Friday. Pursuing a big goal of 232 races, South Africa finished at 231 for five and lost by 30 runs. Pandya scored 63 runs off just 25 balls, hitting five fours and five sixes.

He reached his half-century in just 16 balls, which is the second-fastest fifty by an Indian in T20 internationals. Only Yuvraj Singh has scored a faster fifty for India.

Pandya also shared a quick partnership with Tilak Varmawho made 73 runs. Together, they added 105 runs in just 44 balls and brought home India return to the match after the slowdown in the score.

Even though India lost the match, Pandya’s calm demeanor off the field and strong performance with the bat stood out.
