Newcastle United goalkeeper Odysseas Vlachodimos is currently on loan at Spanish club Sevilla.

He struggled to find regular opportunities at the Premier League club and was eventually loaned out to La Liga. The 31-year-old goalkeeper has done quite well for Sevilla, and they are very impressed with his performances.

They are hoping to sign the player permanently, and it will be interesting to see if they can agree a deal with Newcastle. The goalkeeper has no future at the Premier League club and he is also looking to sort out his long-term future.

According to reports via Witness to sportthe player’s representatives have indicated that he is enjoying his time at the Spanish club and would be willing to join them permanently. It remains to be seen whether the two clubs will be able to finalize an agreement. It will probably be available for a nominal price.

The 31-year-old will look to sort out his long-term future and return his focus to his football. He has been a reliable player for Sevilla and he should look to stay there and play every week. Coming back to England makes no sense for him. He would be the club’s third choice goalkeeper and would not get any playing time.

Newcastle will also look to offload his wages. They will be desperate to sell the player and cut their losses on him. It is fair to assume that a transfer will eventually be agreed.

The player has a contract with Newcastle until 2028, and he will need to be reasonable in his demands for the transfer to go through. He is expected to return to the English club when his loan deal expires, but he hopes the two clubs can finalize a deal quickly so he can return to the Spanish club permanently.
