FanDuel Predicts, the sports betting predictions market in partnership with the CME Groupis officially launching in five states, with gradual expansion into more early next year.
The app is available in Alabama, Alaska, South Carolina, North Dakota, and South Dakota, as these states mark the start of a gradual national deployment over the next few weeks.
The company says FanDuel Predicts will be available to millions of U.S. customers over the coming months, with the new mobile app available through the Apple App Store and Google Play.

The platform, which is the company’s first foray into prediction markets, will offer event-driven contracts in all 50 states on benchmarks such as the S&P 500 and Nasdaq-100, oil and gas prices, gold, cryptocurrencies and other economic indicators such as GDP and CPI.
This launch comes at a time when sports betting operators are increasingly interested in prediction markets, with DraftKings has just launched its application on the marketsp in 38 states.
In addition to financial markets, sports contracts will be available for baseball, basketball, football and hockey in states where online sports betting is not yet legal, outside of tribal lands.
When these states legalize online sports betting, the platform will stop offering sporting event contracts in these states.

Although the actual date is not yet known, it is reported that the rollout will continue in other states until early 2026.
