Aston Villa defender Yasin Ozcan joined Anderlecht during the summer transfer window.
The 19-year-old defender has joined the Belgian club on loanand they have the option to make this move permanent at the end of the season. Although he has not been a regular starter for them, he seems to have impressed the manager with his attitude and application in training.
He has made appearances with them, and it will be interesting to see if he can maintain a regular starting place with the Belgian club in the coming months. He is a talented player with a bright futureand he will seek to settle his career quickly. He is unlikely to have a future at Aston Villa.
The West Midlands club signed him from Kasimpasa earlier this year, but they do not see him as a key part of their plans for the future. Aston Villa wanted to sell him permanently and hope that the Belgian club will seize the opportunity to sign him this summer.
Meanwhile, the Belgian club’s manager revealed that the defender has been working hard in training and has impressed. However, he needs to work on his communication. Ozcan speaks very little English, making communication with his teammates and coaches difficult. It will be interesting to see if the 19-year-old can resolve this issue in the coming months.

“He tries to bring the style of football, but communication is difficult. He speaks very little English. He has a lot of energy, he trains at full capacity and was a positive substitute in both matches,” Besnik Hasi told Football newspaper.
He will have to learn the language correctly to be able to quickly adapt to his new environment and integrate into it.
