As The shadow room previously reported, in June, Kash Doll came into TSR and spoke about her plans to change her rap name due to the plethora of female rappers who also used the nickname “doll.” At the time, she noted that she felt like the nickname was oversaturated and that if she changed her name, she would be called “Keisha.”
Before that, Kash had initially floated the idea of an April 2024 move.
“I think I’m going to leave the Doll stuff alone…I don’t want to be called a doll anymore. And then, there are so many dolls…It’s so many, and it’s like, every time, you know, shout out to them. But it’s like every time my name comes up, it’s like, ‘Who’s the best doll?’
