Singer-songwriter Teddy swims and his wife Raiche Wright announced via a joint Instagram post in June 2025, they welcomed a son.

The couple cuddled their newborn in an adorable photo and wrote in the caption: “6.23.25 We love you, little man.”

Wright then shared some black and white photos of her son via her Instagram Stories to celebrate the very special moment. “He is perfect and my heart is exploding,” she wrote.

After the couple announced they were expecting their first baby in January, Swims revealed the hilarious way the couple found out the news.

“She was complaining about things that we thought were period symptoms. And I thought this has been going on for a while, maybe we should check this out,” Swims explained on The Kelly Clarkson Show. “So we’re at our hotel the next day, I don’t remember where we’re going. And weirdly, as we’re driving through Austin, she’s never been to a Buc-ee’s. [convenience store] before, which is my favorite place in the whole world. And so I said to myself, you have to go. Half my wardrobe is Buc-ee’s.”

The couple stopped at the convenience store in Austin, Texas, to get gas, then decided to try a pregnancy test due to Wright’s symptoms.

“So there we are, we eat Chili’s in our suits, we go home and we take the test. We do three and it’s like, right away yes, you’re pregnant,” Swims recalled. “So we panic, we discover it in our Buc-ee’s [onesies]. Until we come up with a name, we simply call a boy or girl “Baby Buc-ee.” I’m going to call him Buc-ee, I don’t care what the name is!
