The year 2025 was clearly the year of Bachelor Nation Baby Girlsas evidenced by the three stars of Ben Higgins‘season of The Bachelor.
Higgins, who helmed 2016’s Season 20, became a dad in February when his wife Jessica Clarke Higgins gave birth to daughter Winona “Winnie” Elane after a scary delivery.
“His blood pressure and so we lost his heart rate for about 10 minutes,” Clarke Higgins said during her husband’s interview. Podcast “Almost Famous” that month. “They put me on my hands and knees, so I’m on my hands and knees in my hospital gown and ten doctors rush in. Turns out it’s very common and not as bad an emergency as we thought. But it was scary.”
Higgins, who strongly wanted to support Clarke Higgins, began to worry after Winnie’s heart rate continued to drop.

“I look up and all of a sudden, like there are 10 doctors in the room. I remember looking around and going, ‘I don’t understand what’s going on.’ And a nurse comes and sits next to me and she’s like, ‘This is very normal, but you should get ready to go back into an operating room,'” Higgins remembers. “I’m like, ‘What do you mean, this is normal and we’re going to the operating room?’ At the time it happened and it was done, I just wasn’t processing it.

Ben Higgins and Jessica Clarke Higgins
Higgins published an extended version of her Alone in plain sight memory in October, detailing his early experiences as a parent.
“I understand that my days spent changing diapers will quickly allow Winnie to go to school, make friends, go to sleepovers, learn to drive and be asked out on her first day,” he wrote. “One day she will probably watch season 20 of The Bachelor. I hope that if she ever watches it, she’ll say, “Dad, you were so cool when you were young” rather than, “Oh my God, Dad.” It’s squeaky!’ (I know, a man can dream).
Lauren Bushnell Lane and Chris Lane
Higgins proposed to Lauren Bushnell Lane during its season The Bacheloronly to separate several months later. Subsequently, she moved on with country singer Chris Lane.
Lauren and Chris welcomed her third babydaughter Logan, in November.
“We love you, my sweet baby girl,” the proud mom, who also shares sons Dutton and Baker with her husband, exclaimed via Instagram.

Before Higgins proposed to Lauren, he proclaimed that he was also in love with JoJo Fletcher. After confessing his feelings, Higgins blindsided Fletcher when he sent her home during the final rose ceremony.
Fletcher led the following season of The bachelorettewhere she met her now husband Jordan Rodgers. They welcomed their rainbow babydaughter Romy Blair, just in time for Christmas.
“What a whirlwind the last few days have been, but in the most magical way,” Fletcher wrote via Instagram. “[We] We went for our weekly ultrasound last Tuesday and found out we were due to have an emergency C-section that day. At 5:37 p.m. on December 23, we met our daughter.
