There were rumors that the Brooklyn Nets star Michael Porter Jr.. had attracted interest from the Milwaukee Bucks, Detroit Pistons and Golden State Warriors. However, NBA insider Brett Siegel said those teams have not contacted the Nets about the 6-foot-10 wing.
Evan Sidery of Forbes said Friday that the Bucks, Pistons and Warriors have inquired about Porter, who is making $38 million this season, according to Spotrac. Sidery added that the Nets would listen to offers.
Thanks for the submission!

In his tweet on Friday, Siegel said he directly asked Milwaukee, Detroit and Golden State about their interest in Porter.
“None of these three teams have had any dialogue with the Nets regarding Michael Porter Jr., and this is coming directly from all three organizations for those wondering,” Siegel wrote.
Porter is in the fourth season of his five-year maximum rookie contract. He will earn $40 million next season before becoming an unrestricted free agent in the summer of 2027.
Of the three teams linked to Porter, Milwaukee and Golden State are possible destinations, given that both teams have struggled to meet their expectations early in the season. Meanwhile, Detroit leads the Eastern Conference and has the second-best record in the NBA at 24-6.
The Bucks are 12-18 and there has been speculation that superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo could request a trade. On the other hand, Golden State is 16-15 and has been inconsistent. Led by their aging stars, the Warriors were expected to struggle this season.
In July, the Brooklyn Nets acquired Michael Porter Jr. from the Denver Nuggets in exchange for Cameron Johnson. Porter spent the first six seasons of his career with the Nuggets, playing a key starting role during their run to the 2023 NBA championship.
Porter played in 24 games in his first season with Brooklyn, averaging a career-high 25.7 points, 7.3 rebounds and 3.2 assists on 49.1% shooting, including 40.1% from 3-point range. Porter’s career numbers could be attributed to his increased role as the focal point of an offense.
Despite Porter’s impressive season, the struggling Nets (9-19) are not expected to make the playoffs. They would certainly listen to teams, who might offer future draft picks or assets that could help them rebuild.
