The United States may soon turn to South Korea for vital mineral


Nestled deep in the mountains of South Korea, in a remote eastern part of the country, lies one of the world’s largest deposits of tungsten, a critical mineral that the United States desperately needs for its defense. As Anna Coren shows, a recently reopened mine in South Korea could soon meet this need.
