Former Australian cricketer Brett Lee became the newest inductee into the Australian Cricket Hall of Fame. Cricket Australia (CA) announced this milestone Saturday evening.
The Australian Cricket Hall of Fame was established in 1996 and now has over 60 members. The exclusive club includes Don Bradman, Shane Warne, Ricky Ponting, Steve Waugh, Adam Gilchrist and many more.

One of the fastest bowlers in the world, Brett Lee had a prolific international career, winning several CPI securities. He has appeared in 76 Test matches and has 310 wickets at an average of 30.81. He has ten five-wicket hauls with best figures of 5/30.
In ODIs, he has 380 wickets from 221 matches at an average of 23.36, with 14 four-wicket hauls and nine five-wicket hauls. In 25 T20Is, he has collected 28 scalps at an average of 25.50.
Lee is Australia’s fourth highest wicket-taker in all formats with 718 wickets to his name in 322 matches. He has an average of 26.66, with 31 four-fers and 19 five-fors.
He also contributed useful runs lower down the order, amassing 2,728 runs in 322 matches in 212 innings at an average of 18.94, including eight half-centuries and a top score of 64.
On the international stage, he was part of Australia’s golden era, winning three major ICC trophies: the 2003 ICC Cricket World Cup and the ICC Champions Trophy titles in 2006 and 2009.
