Gaza has become worse than hell on Earth, according to the president of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), Mirjana Spooljaric.
Addressing the international editor of the BBC, Jeremy Bowen, at the CICR headquarters in Geneva, Sproljaric says what is happening in Gaza exceeds any acceptable legal, moral and human standard.
She calls on world leaders to do more, to “act now” to help save lives in the territory.
The ICRC is an international organization that operates in war areas and has more than 300 employees in Gaza, most of whom are Palestinians.
