Mike Tyson vs. George Foreman is a battle of big punchers that never existed. Larry Holmes, who was stopped by “Iron” Mike in four rounds, has already made a clear prediction.
In Foreman’s second coming, he almost crossed paths with Tyson, but his ultimate goal was to regain the heavyweight title and Tyson’s surprise defeat to James “Buster” Douglas in 1990 knocked him out of those plans.
“Big” George would defeat Michael Moorer, after failing to dethrone Evander Holyfield, to become the oldest champion in the division’s history. He would retire four fights later, making the Tyson fight a fantasy to be debated for years to come.
In Holmes’ mind, there is no debate. Talk to Aerial sports during the match, he backed up Foreman to win in double time.

The two men showed mutual respect while discussing a potential fight.but Tyson still regrets that the clash did not take place, saying he would have liked to pit his power against that of Foreman.
