Vanessa Hudgens remembers the “simpler” days before becoming a mother of two.
“Well, I didn’t go to any holiday parties or even go [sic] home this holiday season,” Hudgens, 37, wrote via Instagram on Sunday December 28. “Newborn life lol so here’s a photo of me in simpler times dancing on tables. What a year it’s been. From that to mom of 2…. What a journey ❤️.”
Alongside the post, Hudgens shared a photo of herself smiling while wearing a hot pink one-piece swimsuit and kneeling on a table. She styled her look with a pair of sunglasses and tied her hair in a bun.
Hudgens’ post comes nearly a month after she and her husband Cole Tucker welcomed her second baby.

“Well…I did it. I had another baby!!! What a crazy job,” she wrote via Instagram in November. “A big congratulations to all the mothers. It’s truly incredible what our bodies can do ❤️.”
In a separate post via her Instagram Story, Hudgens revealed that she had a burst blood vessel during childbirth. “Work: remove babies and blood vessels lol,” she captioned a selfie.
Hudgens announced in July that she and Tucker, now 29, were expecting their second baby, sharing photos of the couple showing off her baby bump. “Second round!!!!” she wrote via Instagram at the time.
Hudgens and the baseball player met in 2020 and were later spotted holding hands in November of that year following his split from Austin Butler.

A month later, Hudgens explained that she made the first move. “I totally slid into his DMs and said, ‘Hey, it was nice meeting you.’ So I think there’s no shame in taking the first step,” she said on The Drew Barrymore Show in May 2021.
Less than two years later, Us every week confirmed that the High school musical star was engaged to Tucker. Hudgens later reflected on their relationship during an April 2023 appearance on the Today to show.
“After our first weekend together, I called my sister and said, ‘I think I just found my future husband,'” she said at the time.

Before Hudgens and Tucker exchanged vows, an insider exclusively told We as the couple considered their future together.
“They both want to start a family now and that’s what’s pushing them to get married. [soon]” the source told Us in June 2023, noting that Hudgens had “no doubt” that Tucker would be a great father.
The couple said “I do” in Tulum, Mexico, in December 2023. Hudgens announced her first pregnancy in March 2024, revealing her baby bump on the Oscars red carpet. Hudgens and Tucker welcomed their first child in July 2024.
“Mom, dad and baby are happy and healthy” she wrote via her Instagram Story at the time, gushing that it was a “special moment” for the family.
