The big news came via a joint message from the happy couple, along with Haire and her lover, Naomie Olindoconfirming their commitment. This comes eight months after their relationship made waves in April 2025.

Brooks Nader and Billy Haire began dating in 2015 and married four years later in a ceremony in New Orleans. They seemed to be the perfect couple until they shocked fans with their divorce in May 2024. Their separation was finalized in early 2025.

On Sunday, December 28, Haire and Olindo confirmed their engagement in a joint Instagram post. They shared seven photos of the heartwarming proposal, which happened while the couple was out for a walk with their dogs.

Haire got down on one knee and asked the big question to Olindo, who was visibly shocked. Naturally, she said yes and kissed her new fiancé, as shown in the second slide. After sharing more hugs and a few laughs, the scene changed to a beach.

The lovebirds couldn’t keep their hands off each other and were all smiles as they shared a drink in the picturesque scene, with Olindo’s stunning diamond ring still visible despite the black and white photos. The former reality TV star gushed about the proposal in the post’s caption, while writing:

“The luckiest girl in the whole world.”

The engagement announcement received over a thousand congratulations and positive responses from fans and celebrities. Olindo’s former “Southern Charm” co-star Madison LeCroy dropped two champagne emojis alongside the words, “Can’t wait to celebrate.”

Leva Bonaparte, another “Southern Charm” star, echoed similar sentiments, writing, “Omg omg omg!!!!! I’m so happy for you all!!!!” alongside four red heart emojis. The Bravo stars’ love continued with Caroline Stanbury and Salley Carson writing their congratulations.

Reality TV star Taylor Ann Green called Olindo and Haire “the sweetest humans,” with internet personality Madi Nelson sharing the same view. “No one deserves all the love and happiness as much as you!!!” Nelson said. Fans also shared their love and support for the couple’s engagement.

If fans couldn’t make out the bling on her engagement ring clearly, Olindo shared more updates about her engagement on her Instagram Stories. The couple were out at night celebrating the big news with their loved ones, with the media personality captioning a group photo: “OVERJOYED!!!!!!!”

Another group photo shows the bride-to-be with friends, who raised their arms to show off the stunning diamond ring on her wedding finger. For the outing, Olindo flaunted her toned physique in an all-black ensemble consisting of a long-sleeve turtleneck top.

She paired the sheer top with flared pants and a black belt with a silver buckle. Olindo also revealed that she received congratulations from Haire’s family, reposting Lauren Haire’s congratulatory post, in which her future in-laws joked that she was excited to be part of their family.

Olindo and Haire first made waves as a couple in April 2025 when the former Bravolebrity shared a photo of them on her Instagram Story. She shed light on their relationship in June, with Well done reporting that she thanked their mutual friends for bringing them together.

At the time, Olindo advised fans in an Instagram Story post to listen to their friends even if they don’t want to, because their judgment might be right. She echoed similar sentiments in August during a Q&A with fans, during which someone asked her about her romance with Haire.

Olindo said their mutual friends set them up on a date pretending that Haire was interested in Olindo and vice versa. “I’m grateful for the lie because it really worked. Trust your friends’ judgment!” the media personality urged fans. Since then, she has kept her fans updated, sharing sweet moments from her relationship.
