Morocco needed just nine minutes to break the deadlock as El Kaabi headed in a lobbed pass from Azzedine Ounahi.
The tournament hosts continued to dominate thereafter and Brahim made it 2-0 when he headed home after Abde Ezzalzouli was withdrawn.
El Kaabi essentially made the points safe five minutes into the second half by doubling his tally with a stunning bicycle kick.
There was never any hope of a Zambian comeback after that, with Morocco able to celebrate progress to the last 16 in style.
They are joined in the round of 16 by Mali, who finished second in Group A after being held to a 0-0 draw by Comoros despite Amadou Haidara’s late sending off.
