LG to unveil canvas-style TV at CES 2026


LG will unveil a canvas-style art TV, dubbed LG Gallery TV, at CES 2026. The new model will be offered in 55-inch and 65-inch variants and sports a recessed design as well as customizable magnetic bezels.

The Gallery TV uses a Mini LED screen and the AI processor and offers 4K resolution. The new model will also benefit from the LG Gallery+ service, a paid subscription with a library of more than 4,500 works that users can display on the TV. Users will also be able to create personalized images using generative AI or view images from personal photo libraries.

LG says the TV was developed with museum curators and will feature a Gallery mode that optimizes brightness and colors to highlight the texture of the artwork on display. The screen will have some degree of reflection management and glare reduction, although precise details have not been shared. The TV will automatically adjust picture settings to maintain an optimal picture in response to changing ambient light throughout the day.

This isn’t the first time LG has launched an art-inspired TV. It launched an ultra-thin OLED model called the in 2020. It has also launched other “Gallery Design” TVs that offer flush-mounting to the wall in the past, but the new LG Gallery TV with dedicated art-focused features appears to be a more direct competitor to the LG Gallery TV. or the .
