Monday’s game is the second meeting between Dallas and Portland this season. The Mavericks earned a 138-133 overtime victory on November 16. They will face each other for the last time on March 27.

Derek Lively II, who underwent surgery on his right foot Sunday, will be out for some time. Kyrie Irving and Dante Exum are both expected to be out for the 2025-26 season.

Other Trail Blazers players ruled out Monday are Matisse Thybulle (thumb), Scoot Henderson (hamstring), Jrue Holiday (calf) and Jeremy Grant (Achilles). Damien Lillard (ACL repair) and Blake Wesley (foot), both with long-term injuries, remain sidelined.
