The Real Housewives of Orange County star Gina Kirschenheiter commemorates a significant moment in his life.
“January marks five years without alcohol for me. It was one of the most positive changes I’ve ever made for myself,” Kirschenheiter, 41, wrote via Instagram on Sunday December 28. “I have no regrets. I fully encourage anyone who feels like something is getting in their way to eliminate it. May 2026 be your year. ❤️#alcoholfreelife #alcoholfree #sobriety #newyear resolution.”
Along with the post, Kirschenheiter shared a series of photos of herself while Olivia Rodrigo’s “Making the Bed” played in the background.

“Honestly, the biggest tip and trick and lifestyle change for me is going three years sober, three years not drinking,” Kirschenheiter said exclusively. Kirschenheiter explained that she “feels good” about her decision to no longer consume alcohol.
“Because I feel how I feel and how much positivity has come into my life since I made the decision to stop drinking,” Kirschenheiter said. “I would love to share this with other people and just say, ‘Look, if you’re thinking about quitting drinking, do it. It will literally change your life for the better in every way.'”
“It turns out that when you stop poisoning yourself, good things happen,” she continued. “Honestly, the biggest thing it did was it forced me to deal with some of the things I thought I was avoiding. Then it was just the sheer toxicity of what I was putting in my body that was a huge shift, and then dealing with all of this trauma that I was trying to avoid. The combination of the two things just changed my life.”
