Jason Kelce brutally criticized Josh Allen for failed 2-point conversion play after Bills star missed wide-open WR against Eagles

Josh Allen has played a vital role in the Buffalo Bills offense this season. However, on Sunday, they suffered a 13-12 loss at the hands of the Philadelphia Eagles. The quarterback got off to a slow start, going scoreless through the first half.

However, in the second quarter, Josh Allen scored two consecutive touchdowns, giving the Bills a glimmer of hope. But they failed in their two-point conversion attempt with seconds left in the game, allowing the Eagles to take the victory by just one point.

Monday on “NFL on ESPN,” retired Eagles star Jason Kelce shared his blunt assessment of the Bills quarterback. He didn’t mince words when criticizing Josh Allen’s two-point conversion attempt in Week 16.

“He made it (rushed the throw),” Kelce said. “To his credit, he’s been under a little pressure. … I guarantee you he looks at that and he knows himself, ‘Damn, I gotta make that throw.’

Despite the loss, the Invoices did enough to qualify for this season’s playoffs as a wild-card contender. They sit in second place behind the AFC East winners, New England Patriotswith a record of 11-5.

This season, Josh Allen has recorded 3,668 passing yards and 25 touchdowns while totaling 579 yards and 14 touchdowns. The Bills are ranked third in total offense, averaging 373.1 yards and 55 touchdowns.

After the game, the quarterback expressed his disappointment to not convert the two-point attempt that could have potentially won them the game.

“Yeah, I just missed it,” Allen said. “It’s just about us executing, making one more play than them. And obviously you saw we didn’t make it that last play.”

Colin Cowherd shares his honest thoughts on Josh Allen and the Bills’ playoff run

Last season, Josh Allen and the Bills made it to the AFC Championship Game, where they unfortunately lost to the Chiefs.

Despite making back-to-back playoff appearances, Colin Cowherd has doubts about the team’s chances of making Super Bowl LX.

“I think Denver is going to beat them (the Bills),” Cowherd said on his YouTube show Sunday (Timestamp-10:04). “I think Jacksonville would beat them, and by the way, I watched New England today. I mean, New England had one bad half in three months, in Buffalo. They had a great first half in that game, controlled it, had a terrible second half.

“Yeah, I can see the Buffalo as a unique team. I had them in the herd hierarchy around 8,9,10. It’s just tough for me.”
