A mother who skipped plans to after work drinks we ended up with much more than a quiet night.
She became an instant millionaire just before the new year 2026.
Nikita Muse, 35, has been named the latest winner of Omaze’s monthly millionaire draw, taking home a £1 million UK tax-free prize after entering the competition for several years.
His windfall is worth around US$1.34 million.

Omaze is a raffle platform which offers participants the chance to win big cash prizes and luxury homes.
Muse, the financial director of a golf course, was finishing work when she received a call telling her she had gained something.

She was initially doubtful of the news, she told the SWNS news agency.
She and her husband assumed the call wasn’t real — until representatives arrived at their home to confirm it in person.

She was about to meet a friend for drinks after work, but quickly changed plans.
Muse joked the cancellation was worth it – telling her friend that “the drinks are on me” the next time they meet.

The reality of victory quickly began to surface.
“It’s going to be amazing New Year’s Eve for us,” she said, as reported by SNWS.

“What a way to end the year and approach the next knowing our the future of children are so safe.”
She also said: “I’m not a big drinker, but we opened a bottle of champagne to celebrate at home.”

Muse and her husband share four children.
She said the win immediately eased financial pressure and opened up new possibilities for the family.
“You never think it’s actually going to happen, but the money is in my account now.”
The couple plans to pay off their mortgage, replace an older vehicle and take family trips – including returning to New York and visiting Disney World.

Muse said she has been participating in Omaze drawings for almost five years.
She was motivated, she said, both by the opportunity to improve her family’s future and by the charitable causes the organization supported.
