Former Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca reportedly left club bosses behind the scenes unimpressed when he refused to appear at a post-match press conference.
The Italian tactician was reportedly not feeling well after the 2-2 draw against Bournemouth earlier this week, leading to his assistant Willy Caballero taking on media duties instead.
However, it now appears that Maresca was not ill at all and simply did not want to speak after that match, which was seen by Chelsea insiders as unprofessional and disrespectful, according to the Sun.
The Blues announced earlier today that Maresca had left the club and the search is now on for a replacement.

Maresca has had some positive moments at Chelsea, including leading the club back to the Champions League, while also winning the Europa Conference League and Club World Cup trophies.
Considering the former Leicester City boss achieved this with such a young squad, it perhaps seems a bit harsh not to have given him more time.
Recent results have clearly not been good, with Chelsea on a run of just one win in their last seven Premier League games.
However, the west Londoners remain in the race for a top four finish and are also in the Carabao Cup semi-finals.

Overall, it seems that beyond the results and performances, there were simply not good feelings between Maresca and the CFC management.
The outspoken Italian tactician recently went public that he had endured his worst 48 hours as the club’s manager, and it appears that refusing to appear at his latest press conference was just one of many actions that have offended senior officials.
Although Maresca has his qualities as a manager, it seems he would be better off in a different structure, while Chelsea need someone more in tune with how they want to carry out their project.
