Swiss authorities are investigating the causes of a devastating fire that gutted a New Year’s celebration at a bar at an Alpine ski resort, killing around 40 people and injuring more than 115 others in what could be one of the deadliest tragedies in the country’s recent history. Switzerland will hold five days of national mourning for the victims.
