West Ham complete deal to sign Taty Castellanos

West Ham United have secured a deal to sign Argentine striker Taty Castellanos.

The 27-year-old has also been linked with a move to the Premier League in the past. It seems that the Hammers have now agreed on a €29m fee with the Italian club for him, and it remains to be seen whether they can cross the finish line quickly.

Leeds also wanted to sign Castellanos.

Castellanos did quite well for Lazioand he also has the physique to succeed in the Premier League. West Ham are in desperate need of a quality striker, and it is no surprise that they have decided to sign the South American.

They are currently fighting for survival in the Premier League and need more quality in the squad. Adding a reliable scorer could prove to be a wise move. The 27-year-old has shown his quality in Serie A and he will now look to make his mark in the Premier League.

West Ham have struggled to find the back of the net regularly, and they will be hoping the new signing can make an immediate impact. A club of their stature should be pushing for Europe and qualification, instead they are now fighting for survival.

Castellanos will look to prove his worth in English football and help his team to safety this season.

Niclas Fullkrug and Callum Wilson were unable to live up to West Ham’s expectations and they needed to bring in an upgrade. Fans will be pleased to see the club have addressed a major concern, and they will now help see the fireworks from their new signing.
