Brisbane Heat face heat as Melbourne Stars post huge total

The Melbourne Stars came out swinging, reaching 47 unbeaten on the power play as Sam Harper went on the attack from the first ball. Harper smashed a quickfire 37 off just 23 deliveries, finding the fence five times and clearing it once, while Thomas Rogers played the supporting role with 13 off 12 balls. Stars brought up their fifty overs in five overs, emphasizing their intent from the start. Marcus Stoinis then takes command, combining with Campbell Kellaway to stabilize the innings and rebuild momentum.
