Just in time for the new year, Apple Fitness Plus announced new additions to its training catalog. Starting January 5, subscribers will be able to enjoy the latest workout programs designed to help you get back into an exercise routine, as well as some new Time to Walk episodes, guest coaches and artist spotlights.
Apple’s popular workout platform added digital dubbing to its courses in December, allowing members to take courses in Spanish, German and Japanese, thus broadening its target audience.
For the new year, members will be able to enjoy four new training programs:
Get fit this new year with Apple Fitness Plus.
Get back in shape: Designed for users looking to return to exercise, offering workouts such as strength training, HIIT and yoga.
The basics of strength in 3 weeks: This program launches January 12 and is designed to help users learn the basics of strength training whether they are new or returning to exercise. It includes three workouts per week, focusing on different body parts each week so you learn the technique and form of the exercise.
Back to Back Strength and HIIT: The Back-to-Back Strength and HIIT program offers three 20-minute workouts, combining these two popular workout types for 10 minutes of strength and 10 minutes of HIIT. You can enjoy these workouts three times a week for three weeks.
Build a Yoga Habit in 4 Weeks: This program is designed for people who want to incorporate yoga into their fitness routine more regularly. They will have access to two 10-minute streams each week.
Additionally, members will help stay consistent by having the ability to create a more personalized experience with scheduled, pre-made, and personalized plans. These plans will allow members to schedule their workout days, preferred form of workout, duration, favorite music, and coaches.
KAROL G will be featured in the Apple Fitness Plus Artist Spotlight series.
For those who enjoy the artist spotlight, they can expect to hear Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter KAROL G during their workouts. On February 2, in time for the Apple Music Super Bowl LX Halftime show, members will be able to enjoy a series of spotlights on Bad Bunny.
If you’re tuning in to Apple Fitness Plus’ Time to Walk series, new episodes will feature actors Michelle Monaghan, Penn Badgley, and musical artist Mel B. If you’re also a fan of Fitness Plus’ guest workout series, you can expect popular social creator Allie Bennett to host a treadmill leg workout, dancers and twin brothers Luke and Paul Harwerth to participate in a dance workout, and cookbook author Remy Park to lead a yoga workout.
Apple Watch And AirPods Pro 3 users will be able to view their personal measurements on screen during workouts. The data presented will include a burn bar to track calories burned, heart rate and a ring of progressing activity. This will also allow users to see how their stats compare to others who have taken the same course in friendly competition.
Apple Fitness Plus is available on iPhone, iPad and Apple TV. These new features will launch on January 5.
