The 23-year-old influencer and OnlyFans creator spoke candidly in a new podcast about the intense scrutiny she faced online, addressing long-standing questions about her age, her decision to keep parts of her identity private, and the terrifying harassment that followed her success. What started as a protective measure, Sophie Rain said, quickly escalated into a situation that left her fearing for her safety and that of her family.

During a recent “Complete Send Podcast” podcast, Rain explained why her bio has long stated that she is 21, but she is now 23. According to her, the decision had nothing to do with marketing or trying to appeal to a younger audience, and everything to do with self-protection.

“I wanted to protect my peace,” Rain said, explaining that when she began building her following online, people around her warned her not to share personal details. “There are bad people there.”

She revealed that at first she even listed herself as 18 under the name Sophie Rain in an attempt to completely hide her true identity. “I didn’t want anyone to know my real age, my real name,” she said. “Because of this.”

Rain then described how things escalated after her real information was leaked online, a situation made worse by living in Florida, where public records are easily accessible. “My real name was leaked. My real age was leaked. They found out who I was and now they are coming after me,” she said.

According to Rain, the harassment wasn’t just aimed at her. She claims that her family and even her neighbors were dragged into this affair. “I just bought this place and I feel like I already have to sell it and move,” she admitted. “People are already picking on me.”

Perhaps the most alarming revelation came when Rain revealed she had been punched multiple times in recent weeks. “I was crushed last week,” she said. “Four police officers came to my house four times because of this one person.”

Rain described receiving direct threats, including messages claiming someone was at his front door and sending him his home address. “It really scares me,” she said. “Like, are you really, or are you not?”

Although she has yet to physically encounter anyone at her door, the constant fear has taken its toll.

Rain thought about how quickly his life had changed. When she first reached around 10,000 followers, she felt like she had already “made it.” “I was like, ‘Oh my God, I did it,’” she recalls. At the time, she wasn’t even considering joining OnlyFans. “I wasn’t even going to do OnlyFans initially,” she said. “I just wanted to be an influencer. Instagram, TikTok, whatever.”

That changed as her audience grew rapidly, pushing her to a level of visibility she admits she wasn’t prepared for. Despite the chaos, Rain made it clear that she strongly supports her choices. “I’m very happy I did it,” she said of her career path. “I’m proud of where I am. I have no shame in what I’ve done.”

She also responded to criticism, suggesting she intentionally misrepresented her age to attract attention. “I definitely understand why people think that,” Rain admitted. “But no one ever knows the truth, or the real story.”
