Senegal will look to take another step towards victory African Cup of Nations for the second time with a victory against Sudan in the round of 16.

The Teranga Lions, who won the tournament for the first time in 2021, are among the favorites for the title.

Senegal were knocked out in the round of 16 in 2023, losing to Ivory Coast on penalties, but will be expected to progress after coming through the group stage to draw with a Sudanese side looking to reach the quarter-finals for the first time since 2012.
